You will be running a team of finance people, 6 in all. This role involves major interactions with local companies.
You will support the UK Stream Director and UK OS Finance Director in effective financial control and management to allow them to develop the business via an efficient and competitive cost base.
The main tasks and objectives are:
- Financial Management - oversee budget preparation, monthly reporting and reconciliation.
- Cost Modelling - Oversee standard cost models.
- Projects - oversee business case/investment propositions.
- Operational support - provide relevant and appropriate analysis for operational management to support the decision making process.
- Staff development - work with members of the finance team to develop and enhance their skill sets.
- Continuous Service Improvement - continual review and improvement of reporting templates, KPI's, tools employed.
- Bids: Ensure appropriate interaction with and support to bid and bid teams; escalating as appropriate to OS UK Finance Director.
